| Post subject: Buying a car in SHanghai |
Does anyone here have any experience buying a car in Shanghai. Am looking to buy a local built Audi or BMW, but am getting conflicting information (as usual). Do foreigners have to pay 100% up front, or is there a possibility to pay a downpayment and then financing for the remaining amount? |

If you go through a dealer you might be able to get financing. The deposit is normally 30% in those cases.
I got a loan from my bank HSBC to buy my car here. Much less hassle. |
