Finished on Sunday "Winning Through Intimidation". Interesting book by a real estate broker and his strategies not to get screwed over.

Also finished "Street Without Joy", about the French-Indochinese war. Really, really really cool book.

Now reading the best advertising book ever written: "Breakthrough Advertising" by Gene Schwartz.

Book going for 95 bucks on Amazon.

So many books so little time...

"The Historian" - Elizabeth Kostova
Cannot recommend it enough. Utterly enthralling.
PS - emerson, you may really enjoy this book if you have just read "Dracula"

"Sepulchre" - Kate Mosse
Not finished yet and while I find it a bit slow, it is an enjoyable read.

got back into reading recently during a UK break:
Read one of Grisham's books, the broker I think. Not bad - you know what you're going to get with him.
The Italian Job by Gianluca Vialli - impact of culture on football in England and Italy. Quite interesting.
Blink by Gladwell: I thought this was a good read, interesting if repetitive.
Ultramarathan Man by Dean Karnazes. Been looking for such a book for an age, nice insight for those who want to know what drives ultramarathan runners. An easy read (as you would expect).
Now back to the Flashman Chronicles and onto the second book - will update when I have read.

Living to Tell the Tale - Gabriel Garcia Marquez... Can see how the events and people in his life shaped the people, places and events in One Hundred Years of Solitude... So far so good...
