One of my students who was very attractive was from Shanghai. she had long stright hair, nice full lips, large eyes and a really nice smile. I think that what is important is attitude. It helps to radiate sensuality and if your body language and choice of clothes reflect this then you will be attractive to most men. |

Hard to say.
Expanding the scope of the discussion from good looking to \'sexy\': for me it is not a matter of \'features\', but the whole that counts....the untangibles...
It\'s not like a car: \'if it has leather seats, v6 engine and blablabla then its a good car, else it is not\'. Beauty is more subtle than that: it ranges from the way eyes blink to the angles of the joints of the hip form during a short walk on hot sand. Beuaty for me lies on uniqueness, not on standards.
Generalizing beauty creates monsters: look at all these teeneagers trying to be skinny like top models. Who said top models are beautiful and who said it is worth to have a body like a top model? Society! And people become slaves of this concept that society created, just not not have to face the responsibility of living your own uniqueness.
Be yourselft is the first step to be beautiful. The rest is not important for a real man.

Rebekah...If you move from starbucks scene to the bar scene you might have more chances  . From my experience in the US, bars are where the guys pick up the girls and vice-versa. I don\'t know about western guys are from other countries...
American guys define attractive women different from Asian guys do. For example, they like tan, darker skin but we Asian like light skin...ect...

Rebekah, I\'m sure it\'s not your appearance that western guys decide to leave you alone in a coffe shop. I was in the Starbucks (across fr Plaza 66), an attractive young Chinese woman was sitting on a stool facing Nanjing Rd W., and a decent looking, young western guy came up and grabbed the remaining stool. Both stared straight out on the street and did not exchange one word the entire time.... at least half an hour. Meanwhile, I was having an interesting conversation with a friendly German lady who accompanied her husband on a business trip to China. I know people behave differently in a bar but still..... Is it fear of rejction or some people are just painfully shy? Guys, what\'s your take?

ApneaMan, fyi, I know many Asian women would never consider marry outside of their own race and they don\'t get mentioned. There\'re always those who\'re interested in western men for various reasons and they stir up emotions. What about those caucasian expat guys who reject caucasian women and prefer to date Asian girls only as one poster pointed out in another thread, do you think they\'re ashamed of their own race? Marlo Brando\'s only interested in dark-skin women, do you think he\'s ashamed of his fellow white Americans? Rebekah said she\'s tired of the bar scene where I\'m sure frequented by those not-so-nice western guys, and she hopes to meet some nice, normal ones in coffee shops, I don\'t see anything wrong with that. Btw, Chinese call single men and women as boys and girls until they get married or reach middle age .....

ew i was at satrbucks waiting for a friend
and these chinese men kept coming up to me and saying
\"hello! how are you?\" and i got really annoyed and went outside to sit by the stairs...
but then got freaked out when i saw the poor beggar kids laying on the sidewalks with crooked legs... and it was hot outside

yeah but then i heard that you met this really hot guy right??? tell me more about him... 
i do indeed likechinese girls, what can i say, i just do. I like many different looks though so i cant say specifically. as long as i think she is pretty, and true, attitude is damn important, they have to be full of life, full of energy, happy, and humourous. a girl can be good looking but if she loves herself and is just a dumb arrogant person, then its so unattractive.
i dont go up and talk to girls though jus because they are in starbucks, i feel like why should i bother them just because i think they look good?
so you should maybe arang eto meet ppl, or go with a friend and be pro-active yourself, chat u the guys you think look good and they will like your confidence, i guran-damn-tee it |
