Will vote for Starbucks. One of the reason will be that I get it wherever, whenever I feel like drinking coffee. |

Definitely Mr. Coffee at Wujiang lu. The best coffee in town, plus the second cup comes for half price.
They could do better on cakes and stuff, but coffee is delicious!
Also Paulaner coffee shop at Fengyang...if u have a sweet tooth... |

Starbucks in Metro in Xujiahui.
I go there with Her Majesty and she checks out the boys and I chuck my mobile phone number at any girl that looks vaguely interested in me. |

I like UBC because they have Earl Grey.
There is a nice atmosphere at Xin Le Coffee on Xin Le Road, but I can't comment on the actual coffee because I have never tried it. The best tasting coffee I had here was an espresso from a small café in the Tian An Centre, it's too small to go out of your way for though. Not the espresso, the café. |

I agree with Teano, UBC has a great selection of world coffees and teas, perhaps it's too much of a restaurant to be called a coffeeshop, but a lot of people go there just for the beverages |

there are lots of UBCs in town but most of them is so filthy and smoky. even if they offer the best selection of coffee or teas in town, unless they do something about the environment and the service, i would rather go to small neighborhood places or even starbucks for the beverages. |

The Coffee Beanery in Jin Qiao. Very good selection of coffee, free refills, and they give me the remote to the TV when things are a bit slow. |

Jamaica Blue is located at 82 Urumqi Rd. They can also be found on Yan an Rd (west) 1088.
The yoghurt shaker is actually muesli with yoghurt and topped with raspberries. I am sure the staff will gladly put a shot of espresso in and shake it about for you if that is what you would like though. |

ARE YOU PEOPLE SERIOUS? Starbucks winning this! What a pack of lemmings flocking to Starbucks with everyone else.
The category, i believe, is Best COFFEE Shop. Vanilla extract caramalised frappa grappa cino's are NOT Coffee.
Obviously whoever voted for Starbucks has never been to Kommune or Vienna Cafe. Get your ARSES down there, check them out and then change your vote. |

They are coffee places, not this bulk tacky crappy stuff that is put in those paper cups at Starbucks etc... |

Vienna cafe is good if you can get a seat without waiting too long. Otherwise, I'm still in the hunt for a decent coffee place. Have yet to try Kommune. |

Boona cafe in XInLe lu is awesome. Love the service, the people, the pics, the books and the music.
If I was to compare Starbucks to Coffee BEan it would have to be Coffee Bean mostly because of the perks. I like the free wireless (remember, we are voting for best coffee SHOP, which I believe means not only the coffee but all the rest is part of the vote).
If I was to vote for the best coffee, I would definitely agree with mat that Vienna cafe is excellent. Strong, powerful, free refill coffee that would wake up Mozart in his grave. |
