Post subject: Anyone know if I can change from a Z visa to L visa??

Here is the situation: Right now I am on a Z (employment) visa and it ends mid August. But before I go back home I'd like to hang out a while longer in Shanghai. Does anyone know if I can change my Z visa to an L visa??

It is possible for you to change your Z visa into L. You will need a few documents from your employer:
- a letter explaining that you will not renew your contract and that now you need a 1 month tourist visa for your personal affair. This document must be in chinese with your company stamp.
- a copy of the business license.

You will need to provide:
- your passport
- your work permit
- 1 picture
