Post subject: Korean Food in SHANGHAI

hi

Is there any nice Korean Food Restaurant in shanghai? I'm not looking for Dog Meat, but the type of BBQ or the fried rice or the soup with original flavor? I tried some before, but most are changed due to the tast of the local here, changed into a weird flavor. So is there any more original ones?

thank you for the information, could you provide more details like the exact address of the restaurant, like which number of which road, or the phone number there? I am really eager to go there.

Here it is.

长白山韩国烧烤店武川路店
地址: 武川路47号(文化花园门口)
#47 Wuchuan Rd. (near gate of Wenhua Garden)
电话: 021-65167447

I have to warn you though there are 2 Chang Bai Shan's right across the street from one another. I'm not sure which one I listed here. Anyhow, go to the one with more Korean people.

Another good try is Pu Xiang (浦香)Restaurant occuping the ground floor of the Noble Restaurant building next to POS Plaza in Pudong - it's right on Pudian Road and corner of Zhulin Road. They have an excellent BBQ and are not expensive.

My mistake, it was actually Ben Jia (本家)

Here's how you get there: Type "BenJia" into your mobile phone and send the SMS to 85880 (otherwise known as GuanXi) and wait for the reply. It should give you an option called Ben Jia on Wu Zhong Road. Reply the number for more details and then reply with the letter "C" for the address in Chinese.
Then you can hail a taxi and show the address in your phone to the driver. Then repeat the words "kuai yi dian, kuai yi dian !!!" during the entire trip.

The address in chinese is: 吴中路1339号 near to Hong Jing Lu (虹井路)

If you can read Chinese it would be worth registering for dianping.com. Lots of restaurant information on there.

It's next to Fudan University, so in Hongkou district, I think.
