| Post subject: Moving to Shenzhen with cats |
Hello all,
I am soon going to be moving to Shenzhen and I would like to bring my kitties with me on the plane. I have been told by the service rep at the airport that this shouldn't be a problem, but silly me forgot to ask where I should get it. Has anyone flown domestically with cats/dogs and got a registration paper for them? Or would anyone know where to get said paper?
Thanks bunches in advance.
[edit] Also, does anyone know of airlines that allow cats to be flown in the passenger cabin? |

cats in-flight to shenzhen? sounds like air-catering has stepped up a notch... ;p
I've flown China Eastern to and from Shenzhen and remember seeing a cat in a proper pet carry bag on the flight.
I'm sure you'd need permission from the airline to start with. Better check it out.

Crikey -- Well, I was thinking that I would help decrease the hungry masses in Shenzhen, one cat at a time. |

It depends on the airlines. We did this in reverse - Sz to SH. China Southern does it. Your cats will need to in cat carriers. There is usually a separate window at the check in for "special" luggage. You will have to pay an additional fee ( I don't think it was too much.. maybe a few hundred) and then you pick your cats up at the baggage claim on the other end. Its the most painless way to go. |
