Not quite. Due to the government control over fincial market, RMB is undervalued now. And Chinese government will keep its control in fincial market for a long period. I am not sure when RMB can get its real value. but USD was loosing ground and keep a steady low in value. Nobody can guarantee the future value.
It's better you spend it when you get it.  |

the Chinese government though strong and steady, can't suppress the real value of the Yuan forever, in terms of potential growth the yuan out performs most currencies. It is hard to see the Chinese government downgrading the yuan with all the international pressure around the currency. It is also hard to gage the true performance of the Yuan as it's vectors, inflation and interest rate are artificially controlled.
within the last year we've seen 8.2 down to 7.9, this is likely to be the trend within the next 5 years
that's my opinion, then again I'm no economist. |
