Post subject: Needing a good fold out bed option

Hello all
My 80 yr old relative is coming to visit with his wife and we just moved into our new apartment. I'm searching for a bed option for our guest room - but not wanting to put in a bed and bedframe cuz we're lacking space. I'm searching for the type of futon with a firm, spring coil mattress that is sold in the U.S.

Any suggestions where to find this?

We've looked at Shanghai Home Expo in Hong Qiao and Ikea - no luck. Seems all the foldout beds/futons have these really thin, cheap mattresses.

Loads of furniture stores on Wending Lu near Puihuitang Lu in XuJiaHui. There is also a large indoor mall with 4 floors of furniture shops. You will likely find a decent fold-out there...in fact, I seem to recall a store on the ground level that seems to have foldout sofas as their main product.

If you can't find anything suitable, perhaps you can give your bed to your elderly guest and make sleeping pallettes on the floor? Just an idea... Very Happy
