ok, i downloaded bitcomet, downloaded illustrator cs2 now how do i open the file? i've downloaded a few different versions went to the download folder but i cant open the files, how do i do this, do i need another program to open them in? or do i need to download a certain file type, i dunno maybe im just an idiot! |

What do you mean you cannot open the file? What is the file type? .rar? .zip? |

1 is .iso and 2 are .uif when i search for .rar .zip .exe it says none found im gunna keep lookin though. |

Kyle, download the ISO file and burn it onto CD, it is a CD image. If you cannot do that, then pick up a virtual CD drive program like Daemon, which will allow you to use the ISO as if it was a CD. Then you can install illustrator.

iso and uif, daa, img ... (and a few more) are disk image files.
Use alcohol, or magiciso, or nero or other cd tools to mount or burn them to cd.
(Mounting means opening the cd image as another drive on your computer so you can access the data on the image without having to create a cd). |

ok, im back after much frustration i got illustrator plus keygen it says its cracked but its not everytime i install it its cool untill it gets to opening then asks me to activate, (can i get version you dont need to activate) i say no now it should give a 30 day trial but i've already used that up, i ve deleted all old adobe files but there must be something on my system telling the program ive already used it up, i did everything u lot said i got bitcomet, migicISO and that daemon thing is **** it messed my internet up and gave me some shitty tool bar so **** daemon i used the magicISO which is good and really easy to use, which is goood cos i think all this sun is making me stupid or something can someone tell me (1) if i can get a CRACKED version of illustrator i dont need to ACTIVATE to use (2) were to find this program (3)or how to delete this f*** king wh ore of a program ERRORSAFE of my computer its making me very sad   |

I used bitcomet before, now I found Azureus much more convenient... cant than Mr M enough of it... for saving my days with lots and lots of movies. I normally finish 1 season one day... becoming a freak now |

Hi Seph: I don't know much about downloading from Torrents, but I got onto both site, the list does not have a link to HK movies, is there something i need to type to bring a list of HK movies only? I don't know how to type Chinese. |

Shalamazoo, you are going about this a little wrong in your search for Hong Kong Movies.
First, google up a list of HK movies, and then start to pick the ones you want.
Then search one of the torrent sites for the movies of your choice. Bear in mind however, that since you will be downloading video files, you may not have as much choice as you would like over subtitling/dubbing. |

is there an dummies guide to port forwarding?
yes, i checked out portforward.com but i need something for REALLY dumb/lazy folk. i cant even understand what the hell it is.
but i think i might need it.
also is there an english website setup page for my router, a D-Link DI624+A? i had one of the IT guys set it up at my apartment 2 days ago but im having problems and i dont want to keep bothering them. it says 'local access only' for both wired and wireless rendering it useless. |

HC - thanx for the tips. I am not very updated with all these stuffs. So far I am doing okay with Azereus, wait til I get stuck, gonna be back here again for sure... besides I dont keep track from whom I download the files... as long as I can download. |

bc i had the same problem. took me a while to find the right place on the router software to forward ports properly.
key thing though is that you must have the router admin pwd. try to connect to http://192.168.0.1. it will ask you for a password that you should have or if not the network guy that went to your place must give it to you.
if you have the pwd these are the steps:
1-after login on to the router thingy, click on WAN on the left navigation bar.
2-then click on the second tab on the right part of the screen
3-fill up the form as per this pic here (http://www.omni-china.com/portforwarding.jpg). Notice all the options checked. I'm opening port 20001 to ip address 192.168.0.101 (on purpose i'm opening just one port, I could open multiple if i wanted to).
4-click on the confirm button
5-go back to utorrent/azureus and change the port to the same port number as the one you created in the router (20001 in this case).
6-Should work after doing that...
port forwarding helps a lot to increase the number of peers that can connect to you, and hence for torrents with loads of seeders can improve speed considerably. |
