Post subject: Visit and Work in Shanghai

I'm planning to travel to Shanghai and plan to work while I'm there. I'm from the U.S. though not blond but Amerisian. "Hooters" is an american sports bar was open in Shanghai but don't know where. Anybody heard of Hooters Sports Bar in Shanghai? Is it difficult to get a temp jobs there as a waitress? Can I apply a job any clubs or bars? If so, any suggestions. Me no speak chinese.

Hooters in in Gubei and perhaps a second one in Pudong. Opened over a year ago and has done well. Note that waitresses here do not work on tips for the most part.

It is possible to work in the food and beverage industry; note that many people use the F visa to do so as it is unlikely that the company will assist with visas.

Salaries can be substantially lower than you may have been used to in the US.
