| Post subject: Video opportunities about/for Expats in Shanghai |
hi guys,
i am relatively new to the forums, but I have visited this site in the past to look up information regarding various expat activities in and around Shanghai. Currently, I have been assigned to manage a section on showing expats' lives in China for a new startup website based in the U.S. (I work at the Shanghai office).
The site itself provides video content to users about various subjects in China to foreign english speaking countries. Since the whole site is so heavily video-based, for my section, I want to find videos regarding you guys. Currently, we have negotiated for videos from the Chinese media companies, but I feel that these videos only show a very rigid or formal way of expat life. (in a sense...maybe TOO professionally done).
I want to find more casual and interesting material and I was wondering if you guys could give some advice or insight into how I might go about this. On the otherhand, if anyone here would like to become "famous" on the internet  , perhaps you can help me out with interviews, amatuer movies, etc. on expat lives in China by starring in your own show!
