| Post subject: Looking for BOYS! |
Our Oct 15th beginner swing dance class is full for girls' registration- but short on the BOYS for them to dance with! It's only once a week plus practice. Swing is an American dance that NOONE KNOWS in China, so you can't mess it up! We dance to swing and Jazz, we teach you all the steps and it's much easier than freelance dancing in clubs. This is TOTALLY NEW in China- and every girl loves a guy who can dance!! |

classes are one month long- once a week, 200Y (which includes 4 practice sessions). Right now we have a 3 month plan to full lindy hop: 1, beginner swing(3 count), 2, intermediate (jitterbug- 6 count) and 3, advanced (lindy hop- 8 count). I don't know what we'll be doing next year, I guess it depends on the response this year! If the Chinese people go for it, we'll stick around. If not, we'll head back home. We're here just as dance evangelists!! hahah. |

Right now we're teaching at Hot Chocolate- a kindof retro bar off Hengshan, Tuesday from 7 to 8, practise sessions from 8 to 9. We also have a kindof "hang-out"/dance on Thursdays at Xu Jia Hui, since people are just beginning that'll be more of a dance/dance soon enough. If you're interested, pm me w/your addy I can send you some registration info. We'll have a website within a week or so but it's still under construction right now. |
