Post subject: Local guide to Shanghai wanted

Hi there,

a friend of mine will come and stay with me here in Shanghai for abt 10 days, he's arriving on firstcoming Saturday the 11th of Oct.

Unfortunately I will be too busy in the office to show him around town during the weekdays, so I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good agency for local city-guides, or if someone knows anyone that would be interested in showing my friend the highlights of Shanghai.

My friend is 25 years of age, a navy officer and a gentleman Wink . I would like to find a local girl, to show him around town on daytime. Just for the record...'cause some of you might wonder...this is a serious request, and we are not looking for ANYTHING else than a guide, to see the city and maybe go for a coffee or so. The fact that I asked for a girl, is simply 'cause I guess every man would like to be guided around town by a kind local girl! But this is just a preference, it's not imperative.

So if anyone could please give some inputs on where to find good guides, or if any of you would like to, or knows someone who would like to show my friend around, please reply to this post. I would appreciate a rough guidance on how much you charge etc.

Many thanks for your time.
