Post subject: bed softening... mine is hard as a rock!

what's up with all these hard beds here?? i went to 3 different hotels, and they all had the same hard bed. i moved into my 2nd home, and also, my bed is rock solid! i'm scared to come home drunk one night and accidentally jump into bed, worried about breaking my nose or something, hahah.

so what do you guys use to soften your bed, besides buying a whole new mattress? i need something that is THICK... the ones at ikea didn't seem to suffice (for me anyway). is there a special store out there that has a wide variety?? help me please, i need better sleep (U.S. softness) Very Happy

Your best choice it to buy a new matress, other than that you can find a pillow top for the matress you have but you won't fell like you are sleeping back in the US.

A sponge pad. They're cheap and comfortable. I'm going to buy one if the bed in my new home is hard.
