Post subject: 1 night on the town in Shanghai - where should I go ?!?

Hi guys,

I'm travelling to Shanghai for a few days in December.

After doing a few touristy things , I have just one night to enjoy
the best that Shanghai has to offer in nightlife.

I want to hit an area that has a lot of pubs & clubs
within walking distance of each other.
As far as tastes go, I'm into everything.

I've never been to China or Asia before so
I'm looking forward to it - the food in particular.

I've found your site very useful so far.

if going to semi-upscale, touristy, try xin tian di.

if going clubbing, chinese style, try fuxing park.

if bar-hopping with locals (and a lot of hookers) is up your alley, try hengshan road.

if tacky, tacky bars are what you seek, give tong ren road a shot.

if hookers are all you want, head to julu road.
