She's my best friend
Understands me when I'm fallin down, down, down
Oh it hurts to be that way
Down, down, down
Oh it hurts to know that that kinda fellah
Is a Mulberry Jane
She made jam when she came
Somebody cut off her feet
Now the jelly rolls in the street
If you want to see me
Sorry but I'm not around
If you want to be me
Turn around I'm by the window where the light is

There was a programme on bond songs last night and the guys in charge of this said the making of the movie was a nightmare. Everytime they turned up to a meeting it would have a new director.

You're right - it had five directors. Nightmare. Woody Allen eventually took over most of the directing.

But how about this as a cast:

Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, David Niven, Orson Welles, Joanna Pettet,
Deborah Kerr, Woody Allen, William Holden, Terence Cooper, Jacqueline Bisset, Bernard Cribbins & Peter O’Toole.

and anything with a Burt Bacharach theme tune has got to be good. It's a blast, and is where Mike Myers nicked most of the ideas from for Austen Powers. Oddly, the scene where Peter Sellers shoots off the top of a champagne bottle to allow Miss Goodthighs (Jacqueline Bisset) to drink it was also used as a tribute to this Bond film in "The Man With The Golden Gun" where Christopher Lee as Scaramanga does the exact same for Roger Moore - shoots the top off a bottle of Dom Perignon so Bond can drink it. All class stuff.

The original Casino Royale is well worth digging out as a pretty good spoof, and Allen and Sellers are a hoot.

A Big Mac, in France, is called a Royale. This too was from a classic film which had gimps in it.

Best Bond ever. I used to have Evelyn Tremble as my avatar. Enough said.

It's not the bigmac but the whopper that is called Royale with cheese. The big mac is simply called "le bigmac".
