The best deal should also involve the quality , not just the price. I won't dare buy the watch you got.

yeps, agree w lucyna. Best deal for fake stuff this thread should be called. When I went to high school there was a girl in my class who was so obsessed with brands that she'd go to the ralph and polo shops, take a sweater to the changing room, cut the label off, take it home, and then put it back onto her own, cheap clothes. There are many ways to get fake stuff cheap. I just don't see the point in it. What's a brand when the quality won't hold up?

If you get fake top, that looks nice, it doesnt matter if it only lasts a year. You can change your wardrobe 100% over one year, no problem

cant do that back home....

Oakley sunglasses 22rmb
silk scarves/pashminascarves 12rmb
Polo styles short sleeves(various brands) 24rmb
Anapurna Parka 85rmb
Peak windstopper jackets 85rmb

a comment about fake watches, always try and buy from reliable sources in that if you can as the cheap ones break within a couple months, but the better ones, which do cost a bit more , can last years.

keep in mind taht some of the prices were for larger quantities AND taht they were from the Xiang yang market. Some newer indoor markets now hold higher proces since their overhead is higher now.

I never buy cheap or fake sun glasses. They could hurt my eyes badly in the sunny days.

the fake pashminas come in two thicknesses and the thinner ones were indeed 12 rmb. i got 100 of them for 1200 and they gave me an extra NICER one for free too (thats when I knew I had been taken...sigh). Was a PITA to bring home and send off to my friend though. This was not this year however so again, my "best" prices were from XYmarket and before when i used to go get stuff alot.

We can buy pashminas for rmb10...and 15rmb for the ones with more colors and better quality.
And that ones with velvet and a peacok I payed 50rmb, but I still think it was expensive...(ok, in Suzhou they asked 1200rmb for one and for me it was exactly the same!).
The worst bargain for me is allways about Shanghai T.shirts.Is very difficult to get them for 30rmb, I got it, but after a while...
Is strange because is 40rmb for a man shirt, and we have to fight about a t-shirt...

I have a chinese friend she tried to buy a blouse at Xiang Market, she couldn't get it for less then 150rmb...then she gave up.
I went there and bought it for her for 80rmb!
How they can be worst with their own people???

well my prices are all from the last 2 months, all single items (no big shipments) and all bought in SH (since Beijing and Kunming I got everything 30-50% cheaper).
Some from Qi Pu, some from the new market on Nanjing West Lu...

I got small square silk scarves for RMB10.00, sweaters for RMB50.00 - those with EDC lables; a winter jacket made of duck feathers (not sureof %) for RMB100.00. - my partner was suggesting that it probably wasn't sanitised properly...... Ha Ha. I was interested in a "anna sun" coat (at chipulu), asking price was RMB120.00, didn't go thru the hassle of bargaining cos they don't look too hungry to sell - I would probably pay RM60 to 80. There were talks about HIV needles there, any truth to it?
