Post subject: What's some good jet-lag sight-seeing in Shanghai?

Let's say I brought over a group from America and wanted to get them a bit more adjusted to the local time and was using one day to do so ... or as much as possible in one day. In other words, keeping them on their feet and awake as their biological clocks reset themselves to Shanghai time. Letting them finally crash at 10 pm Shanghai time. Then the next day at 8 am, waking them and starting them off into China for some sight-seeing. What are some good sight-seeing things to take them to in Shanghai that will keep them awake and interested for a day?

-walk down nanjing dong lu all the way to the bund
-hang out on the bund for a while
-go to the Pudong aquarium, across from the bund
-Yu Yuan garden is nice, the actual garden/musem/art part, hard to find it since it's burried in between 300 tuorist stores
-food

Shopping @ Huai Hai Rd
Museum @ Peoples Square
Take a tour to the place where they have the old style houses, many small shops, and they have a pond with alot of beautiful fish with a bridge (can't remember the name), but a big tourist attraction, also has great "dumpling" place, u have to pay extra to sit upstairs and eat last i recall on better accomodations, else theres basic accomodations if you dine in.

Just a suggestion:-
Morning : walk in Yu Yuan garden & streets around (traditional places) or Oriental Pearl Tower (incl. cultural museum at base) (overview of shanghai and modern shanghai) - could not possible to do both in one morning, have to make choice
Early (lighter) lunch at Ding Tai Feng 鼎泰丰( for Xiao Long Tang Bao 小笼汤包& noodles, ) incl. walk on XinTianDi 新天地(where DingTaiFeng locates)
In afternoon head towards Zhu Jia Ziao 朱家角(nearest water village, 1 hour drive, then the group can take a short sleep on the coach), then head back to Shanghai (with another nap)
Evening : dinner in Shanghaiese restaurants for typical Shanghaiese cuisine ( my recommendation : places like Jade Garden 苏浙汇, Xiao Nan Guo 小南国, Lu Lu 鹭鹭etc.)
Late evening : walk along NanJing Lu pedestrian street (better with the lights in the night) and take the mini-train back to original place. Then (by coach / underground) to the Bund - Puxi side or Pudong side (personally think it is better at Pudong side). Waiting or finish with coffee at starbucks (Pudong side). Back to hotel.
Hope this is useful to you...
