The Xiao Nan Guo chain used to serve snake but stopped around the time of SARS because the government cracked down on exotic meats. I'm not sure if the ban was ever lifted.
Your best bet is probably larger and upscale Cantonese restaurants. If it isn't in the menu they can probably still organize it for you.
If that doesn't work then as a long shot you could try a small neighborhood Chinese medicine shop. Some Chinese medicine shops in Beijing used to be able to cook up a snake for you if you asked. You would need to arrange it in advance though and it isn't likely to be gourmet fare or anything. |

There is a 'nong ye cai' restaurant on the corner of Anshun lu and Dingxi lu. Sorry, forgot the name. They are in cages near the fish tanks at the back.
Never had it, but the food is usually good and doesn't come with a price tag. |

Just look for the nearest JV partner...
The Shao Ji Canto-Shang style chain has it, and quite cheap, too. About 45RMB ea. Nicely presented, but pretty tasteless -bringing us full circle, back to the JV partner. |

You can buy the slinky nasty things in many wet markets, Carrefour or even down the street where I live. Throw it in a wok and add soy sauce. Yum |
