Post subject: Paris Hilton, American Rotaly - the Symbol of Great USA

I must say I have great respect for the United States of America and its brave freedom-loving people. I also have great respect for its newfound symbol, Paris Hilton, the impersonation of the American dream, who on November 22 vomited on stage at a Las Vegas night club while singing her song. The US will nominate Paris for next year's Nobel Prize for Peace, along with a dozen dissidents from Evil Countries and Jewish scientists. In 2011 she will be named US Embassador to the France.

I had posted pics but somehow my internet connection did not let them through. Anyway you could google Paris Hilton to see America's Princess.

I'm sure Americans such as myself appreciate your admiration; however, I do not concur the Ms. Hilton is the impersonation of the American dream. No one who wears stockings with open-toed shoes can possibly hope to achieve that status. The public vomiting was a good try though.

she could have sat back and just lived off the family's money..who on this thread has never vomited in public? She's working at something, and it's not easy. She could live a life of luxury without ever working, but she chooses to do something on top of having her public life slandered all over the papers. It shows she has something going for her other than just being rich and hot.

she is a publicity whore who would do anything to be in the public eye. She doesnt work, she goes from one party to the next looking for the cameras and if they dont have enough to satisfy her,something happens to return her to the spotlight

She wasn't as rich (before her endless self-promoting) as everyone thinks she was. She and her sister (and her Dad) all have to work for a living. She just has the name. Granted they aren't living in trailer park (although she could be)...there isn't any inheritance money for her to live a life of luxury.

And yes, everyone knows she is a joke. She's not american royalty just an american skank.

I'm serious about acting and I have a bunch of movies lined up. I think I can become a good actress. It's something I want to prove to myself and to other people. I feel I'm getting better and feeling more confident about what I can do as an actress.

at least she works, she could have chosen a life of pure luxury and laziness, how driven would the average person be is surrounded by all that wealth?

You have a point, but on the other hand, many celebrities would love to go out for a nice dinner without being attacked by fans, press, etc. They earned their wealth by becoming famous. It would seem that Paris earned her fame by being wealthy.
