Anyone been to St Petersburg via shanghai? Which airline should i take? Any travel agents? Any tips? Thanks.

I checked, it's China Eastern Airlines I guess offered 5000plus (RMB). I didnt make it there for Christmas Holiday, but will be interested for next time holiday so keep me updated whatever deal you have.... en how about the visa?? do you need visa to go there??

hi, China Eastern flies to St Petersburg? Is it direct? I checked with ctrip and they offer CNY 4800 (not incl. taxes) by KLM or Air Italia but have to transit through Copenhagen or Milan for a night. After transit hotel and transport costs, it will probably come up to 8000++, which is the same as a direct flight offered by Finnair. Does anybody else have an idea on Alternative travel routes. via Germany or UK?

oh... maybe I made mistake, it's just one of the Chinese airlines, cant remember exactly which one. Anyway I'll wait for news from you... Very Happy

Use United Airlines to go from Shanghai to Chicago then Chicago to Tampa. You can take a taxi from there to St. Pete.
