| Post subject: Where to buy a mattress |
We are in market for a mattress(non-Chinese style); does anyone know where to find a good mattress? I have been told there is a shopping center that sells them, but have not been able to locate. |

The best mattress can be found in IKEA and the price for a good mattress should be 5-6000,- RMB |

I'll have to disagree with Horsemandk on this one.... IKEA stuff is ok, but what you seek is King Koil - more expensive, but it is def. "western" soft... look at their higher end models, there are two or three shops in Puxi and one in Pudong that sells them. Try the BIG furniture stores.... |

If you want high price mattress you don't look for crap like King Koil, you look for Haestens from Sweden. cheap mattress is around 100.000,- RMB and the most expensive one you can buy here in Shanghai is 250.000,- plus!
By the way, beds are not supposed to be too soft, they're normally designed for a weight-class (usually within a 20 kg span) |
