Post subject: Proxies & Mozilla Not Working

I have been trying to access a couple of websites but just cant seem to get in. Tried proxies and mozilla browser but they dont seem to work as well. I am pissed beyond belief so any advices that make sense are most welcome.

Implement Tor (search add ins and look for torbutton) in your browser and download Vidalia to access the Tor network and there is no website you can't access Smile

Smooth as a charm!

Is the Vidalia an external program altogether? I have tried most anonymous proxies in proxy4free.com but very unsuccessful so far.

Vidalia is an international network of proxies, you can set up your own computer as a proxy as well. When you install the plugin in Firefox it just runs in the background without you having to change from one proxy to the next one. (works using the same basic idea as Skype)

Really, get TOR - The Onion Routing. You might want to check www.greatfirewallofchina.org to see whether that site you want to access is really blocked or it's a problem of your setup.
Oh, yeah. If you run a blog or website and get blocked: here's a nice badge you can stick to your site. Found the badge on http://www.css-petals.net/. The admin of that site got his website blocked for reporting about TOR and the 23c3.

You need to install Vidalia as well before TOR can work from Firefox!

I tried it first. It didn't work. I tried it again and it works. The first time I used the Release Candidate, the second time I used the general release. Use the Torbutton on the Firefox browser.

This tor business is a little bit slow, but I could get to Wikipedia just fine.
