Post subject: Grey vs Gray

I was asking a question in another thread when I typed the word grey and the spell checker pointed me to gray. Well, so I used gray (although I've always been used to grey).

Anyway, that got me curious and I googled the subject and found this:

Read the comments.... it's interesting.

Which also brings me back to my original post and question (if anyone could help):

Uh...most of us who have been exposed to BOTH British and American English already knew this. Smile

I do know, StMichael. Smile It's just that I think the comments (the usual Brit vs Yankee and how worked up people can get) were interesting. Just thought I'd share it here. Of course, I do realise now that this place in the forum is a ghost town! Wink

Heh...it's a place where you generally see advertisements from Chinese wanting to teach Chinese or do language exchange and so on. Seldom good discussions on language and its learning. Smile

Yeah, I realise that now. Well, maybe we can start something if we come across more interesting language stuff. Although I'll probably have my subject heading as "sexy babes" or something next time. Laughing
