yah.....at least, something for Malaysia.

I'm enjoying the Chinese spirit bagging for gold. In some sports they're really good at it. Enjoying the Guo Jing Jing dive and I'm waiting for athletics events. Wanna see those fast runners.

Also, football match. Brazil is good. I want to see them get the gold this Olympic.

Not sure if this has been raised before...

Is is true that getting a new Malaysian passport done in the Malaysian Consulate in Shanghai takes 3 months and to get it done in HK takes only a day?

N is it true that 6 months before a passport expires, one cannot travel on it? I heard about this rule a long time ago but dun see it indicated anywhere on my passport.

The 6 month thing is a rule imposed by other countries (hence not in your passport). Thing is - some countries have that rule but others don't. So generally you are advised to renew your passport 6 months before it expires. Good news is that Malaysian passports now add on an additional 6 months to the expiry date to cater for this.

Can't help with how long it takes to renew as I just moved to Shanghai, so I'm clueless on that.

I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to participate in the meet-ups/outings. Is there some sort of email loop? Thanks!
