| Post subject: australian visa help |
How difficult is it to get an australian visa to visit a university for 2 weeks
for a chinese citizen ?
I would like to travel and visit a university for 2 weeks.
What do I need to show ?
Posting a bond is no problem. I can also get sponsorship if necessary from the singapore company I work for.
Thanks. |

you will have to go to the visa office in the Portman centre (they are only open in the mornings). Find out exactly. You would definitely have to either post bond or be sponsored. Allow a couple of months for the process too. |

Difficult?? - I would think it's pretty straightforward, should be no problem if you have your paper work right. The visa process., like most things in Australia is relatively uncomplicated. My ex housemate in Melbourne was Chinese (uni student), his family had to wait a month before they got their tourist visa. sure you'll get all the information on the immigration website. Agree with MH 360 as well , ask the Uni to send you a letter of invitaion electronically to speed up the process. Best of Luck and hope you like the Unis you are going to visit!! |
