haha, having been to more hardcore hiphop concerts in oakland and berkeley, i found The Roots concert to be rather tame and sterilised. i liked their music but it was as one member mentioned to me, "a hip hop concert for white people". But overall, i enjoyed it. I was up in teh 2nd row of the balcony/mezzanine so I could see all of the 480 ticket section, if youwere in there, i probably saw you  . but now, i havent met you yet so I cant be sure. |

oh i didnt get the 480 rmb ticket... i just talked to the guards and told them i wanted to say hi to a friend blah blah and penetrated my way to the front  got the number off one of them but erm... i didnt want it as he wasnt cute :S... then went to an after party which was at white monkey and erm crap.
The roots arent hardcore though... so i have no complaints on that aspect. Lighting was too bright and didnt give the right ambiance. Also sound system was crack... hurt my ears... a good sound system can belt out and your ears are fine. |

Just back from last day at work - so boring!!! But i was just told that if i'd been able to stay longer they would have got me on the computer doing stuff - so I feel great about that! |

I had dinner at my sisters and she will be watching American Idol later but i resisted the temptation to tell her the freak was out of American Idol.

Good .. i'm actually on a health kick at the moment. Mind you I do have several bottles of red waiting for the right moment, but I thought I would lay off the beer for a bit. Maybe another 2 weeks or so. |
