one has to a be a resident in USA to play. same as the citizenship rule on the official americanidol site, registering for the weekly US$10K prize or the final US$100K. one doesn't need to do any video recording to be eligable to win on the americanidol site either. on the king.com site the value of the travel reward is max US$3K and is for USA domestic travel prize only, not international. The competition also doesn't include all the states of the US.
IMO a waste of time... why post such tripe here? sure there are a few yanks on this site... but is this website going to serve the target audience/market? So lets have it, how many yanks see this before May 14th, that are resident (now) in the USA and not living in the states ineligable for the competition?

Damnit! I'm late! Was going to sing "It's Raining Men!" & see if I could get Lucar to duet with me!

But yeah. American Idol. Would rather watch Reggie Reagan doing Rhythmic Gymnastics.
