Post subject: Voicemail on China mobile phones?

Hi all,

Does anyone use the voicemail feature of China Telecom?

I found good instructions on how to set it up here:

But I have read on a few forums that the prompts are in Chinese and difficult to use - does anyone have first hand experience of:

1. Leaving a message for someone on their voicemail (ie is it possible for non-chinese speakers to leave a message easily)

2. Listening to / deleting messages on your own voicemail?

You can set it up in English. Mine is set like that. Leaving a message for non-Chinese speakers is no problem because your outgoing message will tell them what to do in case they are in the 1% of the planet who haven't left messages and don't know you wait for the beep then speak!
