Post subject: auto import tax in china? 25%
i was arguing with my mate regarding to the above issue in a public place and save my story how the argument started and why i have been so persistent to dig out more about it.
after verying the information on internet, it DOES show the import tax tarriff was actually reducing from 28% to 25% last july. it doesnt make sense to me at all, as i find the price different for a same model of import car is usually much higher (never done any research to compare all models so not sure whether this applies to all case) in china than Aus, US or europe.

Could anybody advise me and the others here interested knowing more about this auto tax issue?
