Post subject: Buying a cell phone to use in Shanghai

I'm heading out to Shanghai soon and I was wondering how much a cell phones usually costs? I thought it was cheaper in Shanghai but I've heard people say I might get a better deal on Ebay in the US. I was looking to buy a PDA cell phone. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

i can say best buy phone are cheaper than other cell phone store in shanghai and the warranty is good, you can even extend it upto 3 years and the staff can speak english. im not sure with ebay.

They're very cheap here as long as you know where to go and you can bring it back if it has a problem, plus it will display Chinese texts which can be very useful if someone needs to send you an address in Chinese to show the taxi driver.
