Post subject: Whacko or Hero?

Alain Robert, AKA Spiderman, has just scaled the Jin Mao Tower, China's tallest building. Reports say that he has also climbed most, if not all, of the world's tallest or most famous structures.

Is this guy a psycho or a hero? Is he one of the bravest and most talented men alive or is he a few cards short of a full deck?

Here's a picture of Spiderman climbing the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Tower in the UAE. Just looking at the picture makes me want to pass out!

isnt there a "all of the above" option. he is both missing a few cards (after his previous falls) and an amazing climber. Kudos for living the wayy he wants to. Not many can stick by their own principles like that... even is a bit selfsih. :/

Actually, there are quite a few of them like that you know.
He got more attention when he started doing buildings, but he was a rock climber before, just like Patrick Edlinger (maybe you know this one, they shooted a movie on him in the, err, end 80s?) with whom he was competing also.

Better 15 meters than 88 stories. Smile

Ironic how the one 15 meter fall was a result of a rope knot. Makes it seem less dangerous if you climb without safety gear.
