Post subject: Book Exchange

I think a regular book exchange would be a great idea for guys like me who is troubled with the scarce book resource in Shanghai.

I have a few books at hand that I have read but don't want to re-read or collect. Selling them to garbage collectors is a crime against them. Putting them away on the shelf and never laying hands on them are another crime against their potential readers. So I plan to exchange them for what I want to read. I sincerely call on you to join me in this exchange.

Books I'd like to let go include

Robert Ludlum: Scarlatti Inheritance, Matlock Paper, Rhinemann Exchange

James Patterson: Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girl

John Grisham: The Firm

Frank Herbert: Hellstorm's Hive, Messiah of Dune

Morris West: The Devil's Advocate

Stephen King: Night Shift

Eric Lustbader: The Miko, Second Skin

Walker Percy: Thanatos Syndrome

Lawrence Sanders McNally's Folly

James Jones: The Thin Red Line

Kurt Vonnegut: God bless you, Mr Rosewater

and SOME MORE. pls drop me a line to inquire whether I have the books you want to have..

Books I want to have include:

Katharine Hepburn: Me, Stories of My Life

Stephen King: Rita Hayworth and Shawshank's Redemption

Avatar 1 Shadowdale

Elminster 2 Elminster In Myth Drannor

Love Scene: The Story of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh

The Wheel of Time 1, 4

W.G.Sebald: Austerlitz

Kevin Brockmeier: the Brief History of the Dead,

Elie Wiesel: Night

Michael Chabon:

the Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay,

Tracy Chevalier: Girl with a Pearl Earring,

Jodi Picoult: My Sister's Keeper,

Audrey Niffenegger: the Time Traveler's Wife,

Frances Mayes: Under the Tuscan Sun,

Ian McEwan: Enduring Love,

John Grisham: the Innocent,

Joseph Heller: Catch-22,

Amy Tan: The Joy Luck Club, Suite Francaise

Sophie's World, The Sorrows of Young Werther,White Oleander, Beloved, The Catcher in the Rye, Possession, (J.M.Coetzee) DISGRACE,

Million thanks for your participance.
