| Post subject: Big bloody Aussie BBQ & Beer |
Kommune does a big Aussie BBQ every Wednesday night. From 7pm until late. 100rmb, all you can eat, usual stuff, and it also includes a free beer (VB of course). Has been good turnouts over the past few weeks, averaging about 120 to 140 people, however, this Wednesday the 20th will be bloody HUGE.
Me and Flifox, the two gents involved in www.justbeer.cn will be behind the BBQ as the special guest Aussies.
So, if you like your steak burnt and your sausages raw, get on down. Please don't throw stuff at us!
So every week it is the BBQ and a beer for 100rmb, then they have all of our beers exclusively on the night. VB, Boags, Cascade, Crown & Cascade light EVERY Wednesday. Also, the meat they use is also Australian. What more can anybody want?

Ausssie meat & beer? Yay!! Count me in. I know from personal experience that anything these guys are involved in is always good. The recent 'www.justbeer.cn' launch was a huge success. Looking forward to this night. |

Too right Aussie meat. AND, unlike the yanks, we don't have to let it soak for a day in sauce and crap to make it taste good. We cut ours straight out of the cow and straight onto the BBQ. |

I have a hard time CUTTING my COW  forget about straight or twisted and taking her to the BBQ....aah
Guess u aussies r great at cutting...........cows or corners doesn't matter!

^Will try to make it lads as this week is pretty full on. Q: Whats the price of the beers if we want to indivisually purchase them, as one is just mouthwash for me. |

i wouldn't expect there to be chicken hearts. Not my joint, i'm just doing the beer and the Special Aussie Guest behind the BBQ this week.
It is a great place though, and the BBQ is good (and the beer is GREAT) |

OK, so we have black-banned the Hello Kitty aprons they apparently made last weeks guest BBQ'ers wear. All should be good.
and the weather looks to be a balmy 27 degrees tomorrow. Should be a fun night, drag your friends along. If you have not checked out the new Taicang lu in the past few months, you need to get down there, it is beautiful. Galleries, Cafes and nice small shops everywhere. |
