Yeah, actually I have. but they are really tiny and almost invisible (even if it's black hair) unless you look really close. How much was it? might go there.... |

Meaning of life: I think it depends on what age stage you are in, at my age I just want to make the most out of life, have as much fun as possible, experiencing new things, etc.
But I guess when you're older you will want to think about marriage, kids, houses, etc. but also about how you want people to remember you when you're not on earth anymore. And then move towards that goal, to have a life achievement.
But I'd say meaning of life is that you should have as much FUN as possible, bending rules, create rules.
Swiss James: shops in Sweden are boring compared to the shops here in SH, although H&M in Sweden are better than the ones here. And we have topshop in Sweden. Things are expensive, and we hardly have any department stores. |

Fair enough.
I hear MC Jin is in town and really want to see him, think I missed him at Bonbon last Thursday, but he's around for a month so there have to be more shows. Do you know where he's on?
Also I want to buy a new pair of jeans, something like Levi's LVC, APC, or another kind of raw indigo, selvedge denim- without loads of design and crap all over the pockets (e.g. Evisu). Any tips? I've been to a place on Changle Lu near the Hip-hop market and Eno, but they didn't have anything I liked. |

Dear Sienna,
i went to City Supermarket last night and they were out of Vegemite. They only had Marmite. I had to bite my tongue and have Marmite Toast with my coffee this morning.
My question is, will there be any adverse reactions, such as me starting to talk cockney and not wanting to brush my teeth or bath, or will i still remain my usual clean, white teeth talking properly Australian self. |

Swiss James: search on smartshanghai for the latest nightlife update, I can also ask my partyking to friend, let me get back to you. There is a good jeans shop in CLoud 9 shopping mall in Zhongshan Park, also diesel and replay have nice trendy jeans (although it will be pricey), also check out Xinle Road, they have small shops with really nice simple jeans for men! What is jaffa cake? some swiss ****?
Mat hmmm, not sure of reactions as I've never had vegemire or marmite..sounds weird. If you teeth starts to turn yellow or something I will lend you my Colagate whitening paste, works really good! There are also other foreign supermarkets here like metro in pudong, city shop, etc. Try to see if they have it there.
I know you're a chocoholic just as myself, so why not go and buy nutella instead? |
