| Post subject: Contracting For Blog / Forum Setup |
I am thinking about setting up a blog and, separately, a forum. I have (or will obtain) the domain names and my hosting provider offers the tools (Fantastico) for both forums and blogs, but I don't have the time for the learning curve necessary for the initial setup.
Anybody that can perform these tasks for me at a very reasonable rate? |

I could do it , just need more infos about blog (mt, wordpress, typepad) and the forumsoftware (should be phpBB provided with fantastico)
the setting up is not the problem , i just won't deal with the design so you either have to provide a template or use the default templates.
For the blogs there are a lot of free templates available anyway that i could easily adjust.
As it would be more an evening thing for me. |

My provider has Fantastico and uses WordPad and one other program. I also think there are two programs that they offer with Fantastico for forums.
I can use default templates for forum and blog. Are they easy to modify or adjust options in the future if I try? |

You mean "WordPress" I guess? Wordpress is easy to configurate, with Fantastico just a few clicks and your blog is up. For forums they should also have SMF or PhPBB they are the also simple to use. |

Yes, I made a mistake. I should have said WordPress.
Once I've made the few clicks to set it up, is the daily upkeep (i.e. blog entries every day) simple? |

the blog upkeep is very simple with wordpress login, click write, and start typing.
You can change the template look and feel subjects etc through the 'dashboard' see image
I use wordpress for mine see below.
Very easy to use and you can add google analytics and other plugins very easily from the Wordpress website. |
