Hey, can anyone give me the address for this (preferably with Chinese characters) - I can't seem to find it on the map.

Cheers,

you can take line 2, and get off in nanjing east road station, get out and along the he nan zhong lu, walk toward north for 20 minutes, passing over a bridge and then you will find lots of market for clothes, and Jams and crowded, that is Qipu road.
you could take line 4 and get off at baoshan station.

Question is not how to get to get thee, but does someone want to go there. I liked good old huating lu, got a bit annoyed at xiangyang lu, but qipu lu is hell, especially the old ladies following you from entry to exit with their crappy stuff. But well, all taxi drivers know it, agree with bjandmegsabroad

If you go in the middle of the week before 3pm it's never crowded and there's few of the annoying "come my shop"-people.

I went to Qipu lu market a couple weeks ago, got good deals there, 20RMB for each t-shirt on the second floor in one big mall, btw, the quality isn't bad.
Usually the quality of goods in Qipu lu market is so so, but you can find some good one if you take a lot time there. Especially while the shops are almost close around 5pm, you can make a good bargain, cuz they're in a hurry to work off.

How doe Qipu Lu compare to the market inside the subway station in Pudong? I've been to 3 separate markets and the one in Pudong seems to be the best to me

the faked market in pudong is not good, lots of faked clothes with bad quality and high price, but lots of expats like there. I have been there to look around and seen lots of expats buy lots of things there with a big and black bag. maybe they could get good deal about those" brand" clothes, but the quality.. I don't know...
