Looking at the line up for all the other cities, this is embarrassing.

Wow, I know rumours are rumours but at least some of the acts that were suggested as possibles would have made this event something special. Saying that, what is a local perspective on the line up? Is it good?... |

Decent line-ups in the rest of the world for Live Earth. Just not so good here. They probably didn't expect too many expats to turn out. |

Well there was no chance of it ever being a spectacular event without any big name bands, its just a desperate lineup, even bloomin' westlife, whitney houston and celine dion (for the locals) would have been a better lineup.

Look at the bands playing at the other venue's
Before I knew the line-up I was looking forward to it, but now no bloody chance. Its ok for the stars in London and America but no way would they want to perform a full set in this heat and humidity. |

Interesting when I was coming out of City Market this afternoon and saw the Live Earth VIP parade roll past me in dozens of shiny new jet-black Mercedes. Not sure, but I don't think any of that luxury came by means of 'climate friendly' methods. Irony in motion. |
