before you read the following make sure you understand i'm simplely looking for friends here ,a friend friend not a boyfriend ok.i dunno where else to post this,there isnt a "friendship"forum,so i thought id just post it here
so 1st of all i'm a girl, 17 medical student at uni,live in new zealand,i'll be spending next year the whole year in shanghai,i'll come after christmas this year yeah i know still early right,but i just wanna ask about some imformation i need there,i'll need some friends when i get there.and about the accomadation i wanna ask how much does cost to hire a nanny to iron your clothing and cook and clean the place for you,can some tell me plz.and how much for a decent condo with furnitures
so what kind of friend i'm looking for,i'm coming to improve my chinese,shame i'm chinese myself but can't speak it well at all not mandarin,but i speak some dialect at home with my parents,anyways i need some chinese friends ,mandarin speakers to help me with it,and some english speaking people too to spend time with and help me with everything,strange city alone minor you know i'm frightened.anyways back to the topic i'm looking for preferably girls to be friend with and better be around my age 17 18 19 all good.share the same interests with me ,i like tennis swimming linguistics fashion shopping watching football games and just so many,if you are interested let me know.

hmmmm....why does what you look like matter?
No one will help you improve your chinese if you are not attractive?
Would hope that there are a few folks not that shallow on this forum...... |

i dont need friends now just realised its a supernatually stupid way to make friends here but i need my questions to be answerd about the nanny and accomadation btw it doesnt make you shallow if you just ask |

Tough crowd here! Sorry, but understand that this is the dating and relationships thread...and there are many who show up here with many different pretenses just trying to find a boyfriend...when the intent of the thread is to be able to discuss relationships.
Help with your Chinese? Language thread
To get your other questions answered...I would suggest you first read the threads on relocation to Shanghai. Many of your questions about housing and Ayi's (nanny's) have already been answered there.
If you still have questions, post them in that thread.
Other than this thread.....questions asked housing, ayi's and other relocation topics have will usually get a sincere and helpful reply. There are many considerate folks who will help you.

i'll go read it now,and just to get things straight i seriously never thought of looking for a boyfriend here,god im not crazy enough to do such a thing,and about the friend thing i realised how dumb i was to post this in the first place,i should make friends when i get there.anyway just forget about the post  |

live and learn. did you know that anything we post online, even if it gets deleted is usually copied and saved in various caches online forever and ever? which means anything we post can be pulled up someday. anyhow, this was not a bad thread at all all things considered. I can't believe you let a few unruly people get to you, tsk tsk. welcome to the cyberworld. |

but those were insulting statement,but its ok im not angry anymore just hope someone here will delete this the whole thing cause i dont think its such a good ideal to make know ppl and make friends on the internet now,i rather go there and do that |
