I am new to Shanghai, can anyone help me get involved in the expat society? Are there any ladies clubs? ladies sports? or general good groups? |

First off, welcome to Shanghai and ShanghaiExpat!
There are many expat based groups here as well as other groups that have alot of expat participation. My suggestion is to first take a look through the site, especially these forums as there is alot of dynamic info that flows through it. ShanghaiExpat itself sponsors and hosts a few events but other groups you may also want to look at include Community Center Shanghai. there are several ladies groups around and i am sure those involved will also chime in as several members ofthose groups are on this site as well.
Anyhow, look thru the site and feel free to come back and ask more specific questions as well! AND youa re welcoem to come by the expat mixers or coffee meetings listed in our events pages!
