Post subject: Moving to Shanghai... Help regarding Salary and Benefits...

Hi Everybody,

I'm A National Key Account in Italy working for a German Multinational Company.

In order to develop the Chinese Business, that started few years ago, my company asked me the disponibility to move to Shanghai in order to become Sales Director China.

Here in italy May salary is 2,700 € Net for month for 14 months...

For how much do I accept in terms of Salary and benefits.

My idea is 4.500 Net € for 14 months, car with driver, 2 flights for year to Italy, a 3.000$ per month flat, an insurance for me and my family (one little guy of 3 years old) and the kindergarden of my little son...

Is that possible? too high? too low?

I accept any suggestions and ty all in advance!!!

BR,

JP

means you want to almost double your salary
here in shanghai it would mean more than 1/2 million rmb a year posible but good luck depends on a lot of things other people will be able to get you more infos but the expat packages from few years ago is almost gone so salaries are going down a bit too unless you are very valuable for the company. and beiing paid 14 months in china??????????? i am sure some company do but i have not experienced that my wife's father company (sino/german) pay the employees 13 months (chinese) and they are lucky

You know what..
If what you wrote down is what you feel will mae you happy, go for it!!!

if they need really you, they will counter you with what what they can afford and believe me, they would want you to be happy.

better aks for more rather than leave things on the table.
my 2 fen worth of advise.
