MeatFeast Pizza from Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Melrose. I was sulprise of how good it tasted. And just learn that that specific branch uses only Anchor Cheese and Homel Meat. The owner of the placetold me she is supervisong the quality all the time. We got a deal 2/ 10 inches pizzas and 2 drinks for RMB 99.

Prices are a little steep but food was decent.... Nice decor.....was packed last night that was for sure! Smile
Service could have been a little better.

Le Garcon Chinois (vietnamese) with 9 girlfriends. RMB 230 each which covered food and 4 bottles of wine. Food was really tasty but they struggled on the service side of things. Which wasn't a surprise, as when I made the reservation initially they were concerned about their staffing for the night to cope with a 'crowd'. However, they did offer free dessert for their lack of service during the evening which was appreciated...
Great place but is much better suited to smaller groups!!

at home. MaPo Tofu, Tomatoes and Eggs, and a shredded cabbage and pork with rice. Basic but always hits the spot. Guess its kind of fancy to have three dishes at home but, oh well. Smile Do it almost everynight. BUT plan to eat out tonight so... Very Happy

One of the small holes-in-the-wall on Zhongshan lu near Yishan lu. Always go there for some outrageously good Niurou Chaofan or Gongbao Jiding. With a quart of Suntory always under 10 kuai. Can't fault it.

Jimix
607 Beijing Xi Lu

Italian food, had salad, pizza, inexpensive bottle of wine. They do 10% off with Enjoy Card.

Pizza was great - arugala and parma ham, thin crust, nice sauce and just the right amount of cheese.

Pizza, 83rmb, wine 150rmb, salad 38rmb.

We sat braved the outside, which would have been a really nice place to be --if it were late September.

Skip the tiramisu, Jimix is yet another Shanghai restaurant that makes a poor excuse for the real thing.

Was at Babarossa last night... Ambience was nice and food was quite good too. Had a veal tagine (about 130) that was decent though not exceptional.... Face has a new Moroccan restaurant in Pudong that serves pretty good Moroccan cuisine too.
