'O' Café at the Millenium Hotel Yan An Xi lu. Fathers Day special: free flowing champagne, red wines, and local beers. Sashimi area offered oysters, salmon, and 'little' lobsters.

tried Uminsachi - good deal and nice food. Sushi was nice and the place was packed. This 1 guy had to be carried out lol funny to watch |

Subway. New branch near Nanajing Xi lLu station.
Not bad, their sandwhich of the day is just 15 RMB. (so its 30 rmb for the 12" sub) Yesterday was the Italian BMT, and It changes every day.
add 6 for a coke and chips. |

head down to C's house of flour a bloack away, my fav dessert spot for chocolate cake and washed down by the frozen yogurt. Walaah |

we went the whole hog and had drinks at Face (nice Mojitos, they go down tooooo easily)
and dinner at La Na Thai. One of the best evenings we have had in quite a while.
Good atmosphere, good drinks, great food. We will be back for more. |

Ate on the outside deck of the Huntersville Yacht Club .... rode over in the boat, had a couple drinks that were made with real alcohol and real juice in chilled glasses. More than four ice cubes in each glass and we didn't even have to beg. Waiter gave each of us a menu without being asked, brought all the dishes at the same time, didn't pull the plates out from under our hands until we were actually finished eating, was pleasant thru the entire meal. Portions were sizable. I had fish tacos, Assist had a filet that came from a steer instead of an over-the-hill dairy cow on her deathbed. We all watched some mediocre fireworks then piddled back in the dark ... pretty nice. Plates loaned Rochester out to clean up the boat and the jet skis after so it was all very relaxing. Recommended. |

Vale Restaurant, 380 Xing Guo Lu (by Huai Hai Zhong Lu), Cantonese food.
It's one of my favorite restaurants.
Really enjoied their sea food tofu with xo sauce, sliced abalone, goose feet with abalone sauce, pan served shrimp, ze-ze fish mouse...
2 bottles of red wine and some fresh orange juice.
10 persons, at around 2400rmb. |

Home. Beef stew made with QingDao Beef, Organic Veggies, a Schillings spice pack, filtered water, a dash of Shiraz for the browning of the beef and served all over organic HeiLongJiang Rice. MMMMMmmmmm. And Dries Philippine Mangos for dessert  |
