Where do foreigners go to relax in Shanghai?
I'm just a little curious as I can see that many foreigners live in Puxi and I'm guessing that they wont go to the same places as foreigners living in the Pudong and Hongqiao area. |

Dear Minyi, let me put you in the picture: We foreigners, no matter Pudongers, Puxiites or Hongiaoers, generally have the same preferences for relaxation locations, i.e. bars, restaurants, coffee shops, massage joints (respectable and o/wise) and our apartments in Shanghai. Generally, we avoid karaokes, night markets, wet markets, pinball parlours and tea houses (though we may sample these places once in a blue moon). |
