Post subject: Traveling Partner

Am exploring the possibility of finding someone to travel with to some of the more "untouristy" location in China. Was thinking of Heilongjiang for a start but it's quite open actually. The idea being that I would like to see the "Real China" not just the big cities and not just the popular tourist attractions. Think this may take a few weeks just at least.
I intend to use a car for this purpose to allow the most flexible travel arrangements. Anyone ineterested to share the adventure, fun and unfortunately, cost?

it is too damn bad that foreign friends in china only stay in the big cities where are nearly same as in western countries, while know little about the other parts of china, which are the real china....
me, a chinese young guy from henan province in central china, now working in shanghai...international business.....
if possible, keep in touch by email at kevinhenan@hotmail.com
