Your whole course is one big contradiction. You are talking about business. There is only one international language of business, and that is English. Any company here that is dealing with another company, and they can not communicate in English, knows already that they teamed up with loser. Been there so many times.
It used to be my main selection criterium. Send an inquiry by email or fax to a prospect Chinese supplier. If you would not get an answer in English within 1 day, off the list with this one.
So what would be Mandarin of any use at all to conduct international business here? Total waste of time.
