I'm not impressed by JJ.
They should give this young Boateng a chance. Zokora is a monster. |

I thought the Hudd was MOTM on Saturday, has a great pass but is not very mobile. JJ works better with him than Zokora.
Not sure he will change much with United up next on Sunday and they badly need the points after their start. Should be a good game if we get a strong ref (mendes from the half way line) |

now we find out wat materazzi said to Zidane to make him head butt.
When he tugged at Zidane's shirt, he said, the Frenchman had rounded on him with the remark "If you want my shirt that badly I'll give it to you at the end of the match".
Materazzi replied "I'd prefer your whore of a sister"
thats a pretty tame comment compared to what i've heard during aussie rules , football and basketball games! |

is rosicky injured ? i've watched the first gunners game live and he was my man of the match, created chances en masse and was a joy to watch really, and now against blackburn he wasnt even selected ?????
Arsenal Man City this weekend and Utd at home against Tottenham, should both be very very interesting games to watch.
But first off it's the England Germany friendly thursday morning our time...Should not be too interesting though, most of the english lot injured and half of the german squad missing as well. Seems like we field everyone now who used to have a german shepherd dog generations ago |

good to see that tottenham seemed to have gotten their act sorted out. back home there were already rumours that former "diver" klinsmann would be taking over from Jol |

A potential Ossie. To be honest, I do not like him at all, you need at least 2 people to clean up his shite for him to be able to shine like a star. Sacrifice a lot for one player. Genius but lazy. |

He's worth it, besides there are plenty of journeymen players at spurs (Jenas, Zokora, Routledge etc) and at other clubs whom cost a fortune (Carrick, Hargreaves) and can't hold a candle to this guy in technical abilty, eye for a pass ( Berbatov, Keane Bent and Defoe will cream their pants with the passes he'll create), set piece ability and just the fact he can be pure genius.
Spurs have always had someone who can unlock a team,Ardilles, Villa, Hoddle, Waddle, Gascgoine,..................... then who?
To quote Maradona on his peformances for Boca in the 4 months he was there, helping them win the Copa Libertadores
"The performances of Riquelme made me feel emotional" I'm not claiming to have just discovered him now, but the most incredible thing is how he commands the team. He is the team's owner"
Boca coach Miguel Russo said of the man who scored 8 times in 11 games "This wouldn't have happened without the team, but I understand if anyone says that Riquelme won this competition single handedly because he has starred in the most crucial games."
Argentine football is not a soft game either.
You should be drooling at the thought in an attack minded 4-3-1-2!! |

I would prefer a 4-2-3-1 to be honest.
-----------------------GK
RB--------------CV-----------CV------------LB

AMR-------------------AMC----------------AML

At least, I would expect Mr. Jol to play in that system without Berbatov at this moment. But I absolutely agree, Riquelme is a genius. Let Zokora and Boateng clean up the dirt and he will shine like my star used to shine in the 70's. |

you got some tough qualifiers coming up these days , as much as we "hate" each other during games, would be a shame to not have you in europe next year !!!! |
