| Post subject: Blackberry question (semi-intelligent) |
I have a BB-8700 registerd to T-Mobile USA through and uses my Amercian company's BES server. It defaults to China Mobile when I am here and phone, internet and email works perfectly fine.
When I add my Chinese phone SIM card (also China mobile) to my BB, the BB phone works great but does not have any data functions. No e-mail, internet, etc. The BB is unlocked. The message is 'Data Connection Refused'.
Comments?
Solutions?
I'm just tired of walking around with 2 phones.
Thanks. |

You're out of luck.
Blackberries won't go online with a data connection except through a blackberry APN, and those only work with cards that are associated with it.
There are tricks to make it work (similar to the iphone sim cloning method), but essentially the answer is no, you're not going to be able to use it.
Its a conscious decision on Blackberries part. |
