49 RMB lunch eat all you can barbecue / hot pot at Jiang Ning Lu /Kang Ding Lu
69 for dinner.

Best value since both lunch and dinner includes soft drinks (beer is 10 RMB), apspetizers, desserts.

I'd say La Gondola Italian restaurant is good value for money. There's better alternatives but they cost more. I also think People 7 / People 6 for dinner is good value given the comfortable and spacious environment.

The view of the Bund from the Paulaner Pudong.
Costs about one beer.

oh, and when you order a salad don't forget to tell them not to add any dressing, just ask for the olive oil and vinegar! the olive oil is more expensive than the 6RMB for the salad Wink

Tied with the Full Body Massage would be "ayi's" [mentioned by SwissJames in another tread so giving him some kudos]. Love my ayi. Had her over 3 years and shes an angel. Asked for a 50 RMB wage increase recently [the first in 3 years] as we've moved and now she has to take 2 buses instead of one. Bless your golden, pure soul, ayi.

Lasagne at Pizza Italia in the Jing-An metro station = 30RMB
Blind guy massage at the 'Blind Guy Massage Centre By Guys What Can't See' (or something) Beijing Lu / Shaanxi Lu = 45mins for 38RMB
Ferry from Puxi to Pudong, featuring the best views of both sides = 1.5RMB
Double fister of beer / jack and coke at C's (Dingxi / Fahuazhen) = 30RMB
DVDs at your local fruit stall = 5RMB
Bottle of Chinese brandy at my local supermarket = 30RMB. Although I haven't dared taste that bad boy as yet...
